Randers Storcenter

20 years of shopping

The popular centre in Randers opened the first time in 1998, and this year the centre celebrates its 20 year anniversary with a number of activities throughout the year.

When the centre opened in 1998, it was done in collaboration with the large convenience store OBS. And in 2018, the giant convenience store Bilka moves into the centre. And many other things have happened over the years. While the 90'es were characterised by women and convenience goods, the shopping need today is completely different. Target group and communications expert Jeanne Ellegaard Sørensen says:

"Today, centre shopping is for the whole family. Both husband and children demand entertainment and relevance when they accompany mum to the centre. This has resulted in development of the local shopping centres over the last 20 years that now cater to the whole family with a large selection of activities, shops and eating places."

Activities for the whole family
Randers Storcenter has a large number of family activities, and on the occasion of the anniversary they are abundant. The centre has planned a plethora of activities focusing on the things that have been most successful over the years. And, of course, there are plenty of anniversary offers in all the shops in the centre.

Bilka moves in
One of the highlights in Randers Storcenter will be the opening of the large, new BILKA in August 2018. The popular convenience store has wide experience in integration in local centres all over the country, and both the opening and BILKA's general presence will mean more activities for the families in Randers.
