Danske Shoppingcentre, which is owned by ATP Real Estate and Danica Pension, has chosen to set up its main office and management of the company in City2 in Taastrup.
"Along with bringing onboard our chief financial officer, Michael Nielsen, we are now taking yet another step in the direction of further strengthening our organisation by gathering everyone in a single common locality," said CEO Jesper Faurholdt, who took up the company’s CEO mantle on 1 February.
Closer to the customers
City2 is one of Danske Shoppingcentre’s largest centres – and it's a centre undergoing rapid development. And it’s no mere coincidence that Danske Shoppingcentre has chosen City2 as the location for the company's main office. "We could have chosen any location, but by setting ourselves up in City2, we also gain a unique opportunity to engage closely with the centre's day-to-day operations, allowing us to keep our finger on the pulse and remain up to speed on developments in one of our biggest shopping centres," explained Eva Handest, the company’s Commercial Director.
Understanding our customers and having insights into the market provides us with the best foundations for running a healthy business. "As with any other business, it is crucial to stay abreast of developments in your market and with your customers. That's why we are thrilled to have that opportunity, and we are confident that being in City2 provides us with the best conditions for running a healthy and attentive business," added Eva Handest
